WE OFFER  REGISTERED AND NATIONAL "Leak FREE®"  ROOF CERTIFICATION FOR 1-5 YEARS, WITH THE TWO YEAR OPTION AS THE MOST REQUESTED. THE WAY THE CERTIFICATION WORKS IS BY THE FOLLOWING PROGRESSIVE TASKS:

1. ROOF INSPECTION:  Once your roof is inspected by an NRCIA certified inspector a determination is made as to the condition of your roof. If there is anything wrong with your roof which could be a source for leaks in the present and future, photos will be taken of those problems and cost estimates will accompany the report to reflect the cost associated with those required repairs.. During this initial inspection, the inspector also walks the interior of the building and inspects for past and present identifiers for water intrusion into the building interior and interviews the owner regarding past and present leaks observed or reported. The exterior of the building (walls, eaves, gutters, fascia, venting, etc.) as well as the garage are also walked to check for structural indicators and damage to the exterior wall cladding which could affect the integrity of the roof system as well as be a possible source of water intrusion into the interior of the structure.
Once the initial inspection is completed a report is generated by the inspector and given to the homeowner either in person or via e-mail in PDF format for the inspection fee.
NOTE: The cost for the roof inspection starts at $350.00 US for a standard single story 1500 SF home. Size of the roof, roof slope, height and access are cost factors.

2. REPAIRS OR NO REPAIRS? If it has been determined that your roof is in good condition and does not require any repairs, then a one year "Leak FREE®" certification can and will be issued for a fee starting at $250.00 US for a single family home. Commercial buildings are charged according to size and other conditions. Call for estimate.

If your roof requires repairs, these will have been identified in the report with the estimated costs to perform those repairs by a licensed, insured, bonded and approved NRCIA Roofing Contractor.
NOTE: The roof repairs costs are seperate costs  from the inspection report and certification charges.

3. REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. Once the required repairs listed in the roof inspection report have been satisfactorilly completed and verified completed by the originator of the inspection report, then the NRCIA certified inspector will issue the 1-5 year "Leak FREE®" certification to the client from the original NRCIA Inspector who generated the initial inspection report.

NOTE: The cost to issue the Certification is $250.00 US for a 1 year certification. The difference between the 1 year and the five year certification has to do with the condition of the roof which is being certified in conjunction with the fees paid by the owner.

Please feel free to contact HUFFMAN INSPECTION SERVICES for an estimate or to schedule the initial inspection.
